  2. The fairy tale I chose is The Three Little Pigs, and here is my poem:

    The Three Little Pigs.

    The three little pigs,
    decided to build their houses.
They wanted them to be big,
and to keep them safe from the beasts.
    “Stop waiting!”
    said the older one,
    “And start working!”

    Barney, The youngest pig,
    didn’t know how to build.
    So he grabbed some straws
and made a house with a thatched roof.
    It didn´t have fireproof,
but for sure it would do!
And with some straws he didn´t use,
    he built a scarecrow,
and when he finished his work,
he went to play with his seesaw!

    Scott, the middle pig,
    didn’t want to work,
he wanted to nap and relax.
    But instead of that,
    he grabbed an axe,
    and cut some wood.
And he did what he should,
    a nice wooden house,
    and he welcomed no mouse!

    Teddy, the oldest pig,
    did as he pleased.
And he wasted some more time,
he even worked with bad time!
And he built a strong house,
    a really nice place,
    with even a fireplace!
    How happy Teddy was,
    with his new dwelling.
So much that he started yelling
    “How glad I am,
    I could marry a lamb!”

    When the work was done,
    they got inside their houses,
    and they didn’t come out,
not even to see the sunrises.
But one day the wolf appeared,
    and he threatened
    to blow their houses up!

    The pigs got scared,
    except for the grown-up,
    because he knew
    his house was strong enough.
    So he only sat,
and waited for the wolf to blow hard.

    Oh my God!
What am I going to do?
    Thought the youngest pig
    in desperation.
And he got under his bed
    while the wolf blew,
    producing a strong vibration.
    Muajajaja! Laughed the wolf cheerful,
    while the little pig
    saw his house in ruins.

Barney ran to his brother’s house,
    and they both got inside
while the wolf chase them with pride.
    “Please, Mr. Wolfie!
    Stop destroying our houses!”
    Cried the pigs fearful
“I don’t care about your houses!”
    Yelled the wolf boastful
“I just want to eat you up!”

    The pigs wept
while the wolf started to blow again!
    But Scott’s house was stronger,
so if he wanted to demolish it,
    it would take him longer.

    However, in just few seconds,
    he destroyed the house,
as if he had had a weapon!
The two pigs were again in solitude,
while the wolf cackled with attitude.

    Not knowing what to do,
the two brothers ran to Teddy’s house,
which was made of bricks and concrete,
so for sure the wolf won’t blow it without difficulty.
    But he tried anyway,
and he blew and blew with cruelty.

    The three brothers,
    pleased with their strong house,
started to cook a good food,
and they forgot about the wolf.

But the old and wise animal,
    decided to climb the house,
    and entered through the chimney.
But what the wolf didn’t know,
was that the brothers were boiling water,
and that it was getting hotter.
So when the wolf slid down the chimney
    he fell inside the pot
    and he burned his butt!
    with hot boiling water.

    Weeping and screaming,
    the wolf started running,
and he went of the house,
    cursing the brothers.

Barney, Scott and Teddy started laughing,
and they sat around the table
    to eat the delicacy
    like members of the aristocracy!
    But, after dinner,
the oldest pig told his brothers
    “Remember always to work hard,
so you don’t get a sad surprise,
    and don’t play too much,
    you are grownups!”

  4. Hi! My fairy tale is Hansel and Gretel, so I'm going to write a poem about this tale. I hope you like it!

    Hansel and Gretel

    A famine has come,
    And our stepmother is dumb,
    She proposes to abandon us,
    Hoping to relieve stress,
An idea we think our father would detest,
    But surprisingly, he says yes.

    What should we do?,
    We haven't got a clue,
She is taken us to the woods,
Not even giving us some goods.
    No problem, says Hansel.
We'll mark the way with stones,
As his voice shakes in a nervous tone,
Then, we'll follow the way and arrive at home.

Again she takes us to the woods,
She would kill us, if she could.
    Don't worry, says Hansel.
We'll mark the way with crumbs,
Then, we'll follow the way and arrive at home.
But we walk home at dawn,
And realize the crumbs are gone!.

What shoud we do?, Gretel exclaims.
We'll keep walking and, in the end,
    Our goal we'll obtain!.

Oh look!, says Gretel, it's a cottage!,
We'll go in and put down our baggage.
Be careful, says Hansel, there might be danger,
Father told us to be aware of strangers.

    Hansel, it's made of gingerbread!,
I think we should eat it,
    There's nobody inside,
    The door is not locked,
    The door isn't even blocked!.

Wait!, says Hansel, a woman is coming,
    She doesn't look too charming.
Come on!, we should probably hide,
    Behind the curtain, we decide.

    Oh dear, she's found us!.
Hello darling, are you lost? the woman asks.
    Yes we are, we confess.
Come out here, I'll make some food, the lady says,
And brings out a few trays.

    Cautiously, we walk to her.
Suddenly, she takes Hansel and puts him in a cage.
What are you doing?! we yelled in rage.
Why, I'm putting him in a comfortable room! she claims.
I'll get him out, I will! Gretel proclaims,
While she becomes the old woman's maid.

    Three days go by,
    She still tells us lies.
All right, dinner time! the witch unlocks Hansel.
What are you talking about?! Gretel tightens the door handle.
The lady stands in front of the oven, ready for her meal,
But Gretel, more clever than the witch,
Throws her in and keeps it sealed.

    Finally, Gretel frees her sibling,
    They open the door,
And ran out of the dwelling.
Finally, finally, it's time to go home!,
Hopefully this time, we will reach our goal!

  5. Hi everybody! I've chosen the story "Alice in Wonderland" and here's my poem:

    "Alice in Wonderland"

It was a beautiful spring morning,
and under a tree near a river
there was a little girl called Alice
    sitting around the flowers.

Her older sister was with her
    reading aloud a story,
    but Alice wasn't paying attention
since she found it really boring.

    The sun was so warm
    that Alice soon became sleepy,
    but suddenly she awoke
when a white rabbit with a huge watch
passed in front of her like a flash,
as if he were in a rush.

    He was smartly dressed
    and he was talking alone!
    Alice decided to follow him
when he entered a rabbit hole.

As soon as she entered there
    she started falling slowly.
    Alice was extremely surprised
as she seemed to be floating!

    After a while she arrived
at a weird and noisy place.
    Suddenly she realized
    that she was in Wonderland!

    There were many strange creatures
who seemed to be really mad.
One of them was a big cat
with an appearing and disappearing smile!

Alice started to ask for the white rabbit,
but no one there knew about him.
She talked to them with respect
but the creatures answered in a horrible way!

As Alice was wandering through the streets,
    she saw a big advertisement.
She stopped for a moment and read
    the words "Mad Hatter."

    So she followed the way
    that the arrow indicated,
    and arrived at a party
    where the "Mad Hatter" celebrated.

The girl sat in a chair
in order to drink some tea,
but the "Mad Hatter" shouted at her
    ordering the girl to leave.

    Sad, confused and scared,
    Alice escaped from that place,
hoping to find the white rabbit
    somewhere along the way.

    All at once she found
    another strange creature,
it was the Queen of Hearts,
who was playing with other people.

    Alice,too, wanted to play
    that weird croquet game,
but the Queen was a crooked witch
    and the rules were unfair.

    Suddenly the white rabbit appeared,
    he worked for the Queen!
Alice was about to talk to him
when she heard her sister speak,
then she opened her eyes and realized
that all had been a dream!

  6. This is the poem I have written from the story "Rapunzel"

    RAPUNZEL
Have you ever heard the tale
    Of the famous Rapunzel?
Some say she was a beauty
And lived in a tall, tall tower
    Protected by some power

She was raised by a witch
Who kept her in the heights
    With fear for some day
Would leave her for a knight

She had a long, long hair
Which she brushed it every day
    And which also served
    As a ladder for pray

The witch used Rapunzel’s blonde hair
To go up and take care
But no one else would climb
    There’s a spell, be aware

    However, Prince Charming once
Could meet Rapunzel for a while
    They fell deeply in love
And promise to escape to the wild

  7. Once upon a time
There was a young pretty girl
    Who didn’t have father
    But a bad stepmother
    Who only loved and cared
    Her two mean daughters
    That’s why Cinderella
    Felt always lonely.

She was always washing and dusting
    Her clothes were nasty
    Her face was grubby
    How could she be happy?
    Her stepsisters were always laughing
    At her wretched fate
    Malicious, dastardly and insulting
    Were them!

    One fine morning,
A message was left in the town.
It came from the royalty to attend a dance
    The stepmother and her daughters
    Purchased their new gowns,
    They couldn’t miss the chance
To meet the price, at last!

    When Cinderella heard that
She felt the most wretched around
She wanted to go to the dance
Meet the prince and change her luck.
And the next day, by a twist of fate,
    A fairy godmother came!

    She had a golden wand
    To achieve her task
    She transformed Cinderella
    In a real aristocrat.

    And the joyful young woman
Could go to the dance ball,
    She entered the big palace
    That she hadn’t been before.
    Everybody admired her,
    Except her stepmother
Who dared to fire her in front of the others.

    And suddenly a man
    Dressed in golden cloths
Invited her to dance all night long
    She couldn’t believe her eyes
She was dancing with the man
    Who liked her so much
    All her life.

Midnight came, she had to return.
    All the bliss and gloss
    Had she already lost.
    The worst thing of all
    Was her stepmother annoyed.

    Days for Cinderella
    Finally changed,
    When one fine day
    The prince came,
    To claim for the woman
    Who had danced so well!
It was Cinderella, and a twist of fate!

    SLEEPING BEAUTY
    Once upon a time,
Seven fairies are invited to infant’s baptize
    While giving her the presents,
    The most malignant fairy enters,
    And enchants the little child,
To prick her thumb and sleep for a long time.

    Sleeping beauty pricked her thumb,
And she fell into a deep slumber,
    Laying down in her bed,
    She waits to be saved.

A brave prince enters the palace,
    everything is in its place,
    and nobody has gone away,
    he enters a room,
and is impressed by a lady’s look.
Kneeling down he kisses her cheek
hoping that she'd wake and speak.

    Sleeping beauty finally awakes,
The prince is overcome by her delicate face,
An in that moment he says:
Sleeping beauty you’re going to be mine,
Sleeping beauty you’re going to be my wife.

  10. The three little pigs

    Mark, Jack and Luke
Lived in the outskirts of Hollywood.
    Calm was their life
They had never had to pull out a knife.

After they became young and strong
It was time to move on,
In this, they all went along
So they packed their luggage and so on…

    It didn’t take long
Till they found a cozy spot.
    Everyone was getting along
But they had to do a lot.

    “We should start working!”
    Said the oldest brother
    But the others started yelping,
Oh please! we don’t want to be bothered!

Eventually they started building three little houses
Brick, locks and straw stained their blouses.
They worked so thrifty that one by one,
    The little houses became done

None of the pigs was worried
    They worked but never hurried
But when the despicable wolf appeared
    They all swiftly scurried.

Mark was not worried at all
He had worked the most of all
His house was warm and strong
    Nothing could go wrong

But he became anxious about the others
After all, they were his brothers!
    What could he do?
    He would protect them too!

So as they ran away from the wretches
    The oldest pig fetches
    One hand, then the other
Suddenly they are safe and the wolf cannot bother

Inside they wait for the wolf to climb up
While the sip tea in cup
Up and down the wolf goes
And doesn’t imagine they will increase his woes

    Boiling soup saves the pigs
Away goes the wolf while he jigs
    The pigs dance happily
    And promise to work hardly
    The lesson was learned
Never again will hard work be spurned.

Who used to swim under the wide sky.
She had something that any other girl in the world would ever have,
She was half human and half mermaid.

She had a dream and that was to go on land,
But her father, King Triton had forbidden her to do that.
But curiosity was awaken in little mermaid´s heart,
And for that reason she disobeyed her fa.

    She decided to meet Ursula,
    The most fearful Sea witch
She was the only who could help the little mermaid
    To achieve her fevered dream.

But the malicious witch was ahead of the game,
She made a deal with Ariel to transform her into a human girl.
As payment for legs, Ariel had to lose her voice,
Which was magically removed from Ariel´s vocal chords.

    The ending is much happier
    Cause Ariel met her love.
He was Eric, the most gorgeous guy on earth
Who fall in love with the weird little mermaid.

They would spend together the rest of their lifes,
    Fighting against the Sea witch,
Who was always ready to deceive
    The inexperienced couple
Between a mermaid and a human man.

  15. "The Lion King"

    Once upon a time
in a magnificent jungle out of sight
a lovely lion cub was born
    and presented in a ceremony
at the lion’s residence Pride Rock
for all the animals who wanted to say him “hello!”

His father Mufasa, the Lion King
    confronted his young brother Scar
telling him that in the ceremony he should have been,
His answer was “I’m sorry, I forgot”
    but the real thing was
he was jealous that the future king was born.
    He has always thought
he deserved to be the next on the throne.

    Time passed very fast
    and Simba, the little lion
was now a very active and playful cub.
    One day his uncle Scar
lures him to the Elephant Graveyard
the place Mufasa had warned his son
never to go, never to stand,
it was to him a forbidden land.

    Unable to overcome his curiosity
Simba invited his best friend Nala
a female lion cub, with a unique beauty.
    They went to the land
full of expectations of what they will find.
    They encounter three hyenas
    as soon as they arrived,
they wanted to kill these ingenious lions at once!
But Mufasa came out of the dark
    and scared off the hyenas
who run with a loud cry.

After plotting with the hyenas to kill Simba,
    and after they had failed
Scar decided to kill his nephew by himself!
Actually he wanted to get rid of both,
the little lion and his father once and for all!

With a cruel plan in mind
Scar tricked Simba by telling him he had to try
to “work on that little roar”,
and with a particularly loud noise
Simba caused among the wildebeest a revolt.
    Actually, that was Scar’s plan,
    he engineered the wildebeest stampede!
But Mufasa heard something was not right
and what was happening he rushed to see!
From the stampede, his son he could save,
however, he couldn’t from it escape.
    Trying to climb a rock,
he pleads for help to Scar
but the evil lion threw him to the floor,
and under the hooves of the wildebeest Mufasa died.

    Scar exclaimed Mufasa’s death
    wasn’t his fault but Simba’s,
and he advised the little lion to run away
“follow and kill him!” he ordered the hyenas
but Simba hurried and could escape.
The cub run away, never to return,
    and in that way
with Mufasa and the little prince supposedly dead
    Scar the new king became.

  16. Simba reached a place
that was strange, that was desert.
    He was tired;
he was about to die of thirst.
However, by a meerkat and a warthog he was saved,
Timon and Pumba were their names
and they wanted him to be their friend!

With Timon and Pumba, Simba grew up.
They thought him a different lifestyle,
and “Hakuna Matata” they always sang.
He was happy with this “no worries” new life!
    Time passed,
and Simon was no longer a fearful cub
but a courageous and brave adult.

    Strangely one day
he met Nala, his childhood friend,
she had been looking for him,
she had been looking for help.
She had fled Scar's dictatorial rule,
“you have to be back home,
The kingdom is in complete ruin!”
Nala said with a desperate tone.
But Simba refused to do so,
as he was still traumatized by the belief
    he had caused his father’s death;
    yet he didn’t know
    it was entirely false.

Nala wasn’t successful in persuading the lion,
    but another episode that night
made that Simba change his mind.
It was his father what he saw
when he saw himself in a pond.
At once his guilt-ridden has gone!
    The water revealed
Mufasa's spirit still lived on inside him!
At that revelation, he didn’t know how,
the spirit of Mufasa appears in towering storm clouds.
Simba clearly listened to his father’s demand:
    “to look at himself inside,
and that he was the rightful King he had to understand!”

Now he was determined to home go back,
and with Timon and Pumba they run and run,
so in a very little moment
    they reached Pride Lands.
He confronted his uncle as soon as he arrived
    and immediately the battle began.
Scar backed Simba to the edge of the cliff,
as lightning struck a tree that was dead
and set the Pride Lands ablaze.
In that very moment, to Simba Scar confessed
HE was responsible of Mufasa’s death.
At the truth of the murder enraged
and how he was a fool in it played,
    Simba leapt upon Scar
and forces him to publicly confess to his crime.
    After another battle,
Scar is thrown to the fire from the cliff edge
and that was finally Scar’s death.

Shortly thereafter, rain begins to fall,
extinguishing the fire and cleansing the earth all.
    Becoming the new king,
    Simba ascended Pride Rock,
He led the Pride Lands back
into times of glory and prosperity that were lost.
This story ends just as it begins
    Simba and Nala's cub Kopa
    in a ceremony presented is,
    everybody was so happy
    everybody was so pleased!

(I had to split the poem into two parts in order to be able to post it)
