After having killed the Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood goes home to see her mother. On the way back to home, the villagers are astonished to see her without that silly hood upon her head and cloak of red. Some minutes later, she arrives at home.
LRRH: Hi mum! How are you doing? MOTHER: (perceiving a change in her daughter) Hi daughter....Is everything OK? You look weird. LRRH: No mum, everything is perfect! MOTHER: Oh, well. Did you go to visit your grandmother and give her the cake and the little pot of butter, as I told you? LRRH: (lying to her mother) Oh yes! But, she wasn't at home, perhaps she went out to do some duties, you know mum, she can't stay at home doing nothing, she always like to be on the go all day. MOTHER: Mmm...(knowing that something bad has happened) Where is your red riding hood that your grandmother had made with affection for you? And what's that you are wearing? Surely, it is not your red riding hood, isn't it? LRRH: Well....mmm...(hesitating) It's a long story, maybe you won't want to hear it. MOTHER: Oh yes, of course that I want to hear it. Tell me, tell me! LRRH: Well...When I got to grandma's house, she wasn't there. Instead, there was a horrifying Wolf waiting for me in order to eat me in one big bite. But, mama, I always carry a pistol in my knickers for protection. When the Wolf attempted to attack and devour me, I quickly took the pistol out and shot him at his head, and with his furry skin I made this beautiful coat. I had already gotten tired of that stupid red riding hood. MOTHER: My God! What did you do?! Let me think..so, your grandmother is dead! LRRH: Oh yes, she is dead, but isn't it lovely my new furry wolfskin coat? (LRRH's mother faints)
While Little Red Riding Hood was hopping and skipping in the forest, she came across his friend, the woodcutter. When he saw her, he asked: “Hi, Little Red Riding Hood, may I ask you a question?” “Oh! Certainly, Mr. Woodcutter!” answered Little Red smiling. “You know, I can’t find my pistol… have you seen it? That pistol I use to hunt in the forest,” the woodcutter told her very worry. “Oh! Mr. Woodcutter… yes, in fact I’ve seen it. Please, don’t be mad at me, sir, but I borrowed it the other day when I was having tea in your house.” “But… Little Red… why did you take it?” asked the woodcutter surprised. “Oh! I really needed it,” Little Red Riding Hood told him convinced. “But… why? Why did you take it? What did you do with it?” “I shot the wolf” “What?!” the woodcutter couldn’t believe his ears. “Oh! Please, Mr. Woodcutter, don’t be mad at me! He was being mean to me! And he wanted to chase me all the time!,” the girl tried to justified herself. “OK, OK! But that’s a very dangerous weapon! Where is it now?” asked the woodcutter with worry. “Who? The wolf?” “No! The pistol!” screamed the man impatiently. “Oh, here!” and he took the pistol out of her basket. “Oh, please! Give it to me Little Red, bad girl, and tell me what happened!” “Oh, the wolf wanted to eat me, you know, and he told me his old, boring story, that he will devour me with his big, nasty mouth.” Explained Little Red. “And what did you do?!” shouted the woodcutter. “Oh, I shot him.” “But, how? Just like that?” asked the men with his eyes wide open. “Yes, just like that, I made a hole in his hairy belly.” “My God, Little Red! You are brave!” “Yes, I am! And here is your gun!” smiled the girl and gave the man his pistol. “OK, thank you, Little Red, I’ll keep it away.” The man put the pistol in his pocket. “OK, sir, and sorry for not having told you, but it was really necessary!” “OK, now go and tell your mum, and don’t play pranks anymore.” “I already told my mum.” “And what did she tell you?” asked the woodcutter impatiently. “Oh, nothing, she helped bury the body!” “Oh, Gosh!” wept the man. And Little Red Riding Hood went back home, hopping and skipping and singing a lovely song.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at home that night, after killing the wolf, her mother asked her: "How was your Grandmamma doing?" "Well, she was a bit wet and scared," the girl replied. "What do you mean, honey?" asked her mom. "She was inside that wicked wolf's belly! But I rescued her." "My God,darling! How could you save your poor Grandma?" cried the woman. "I shot the wolf with a pistol I'd borrowed from dad," answered Little Red Riding Hood feeling proud of herself. "Then I cut the wolf's belly with a knife and took Grandmamma out." "How brilliant you are, sweet heart!" exclaimed the mother with a smile. "Thanks mom, the problem is that now I don't know what to do with the wolf's body!" "I have a great idea!" mother said. "Let's wash his skin and I will make a furry wolfskin coat for you!" continued the woman. "Excellent idea, mom! I'm going to bring a bucket with water right now!" replied the girl enthusiastically.
Little Red riding hood walked back to her house without even stopping to collect some flowers or to stare at some squirrels that were eating some nuts. MOTHER: Little Red! You’re back! L.R.R.H.: Yeah, mom… (She said with relief) MOTHER: Hey! What’s that face? You look so tired… L.R.R.H.: Well, I’ll tell you… It’s a long story… But promise you won’t get mad at me… MOTHER: What happened, dear? Are you O.K.? L.R.R.H.: Yes, I am now! I began my walk to grandma’s house, just as you told me to, without stopping or getting distracted, when all of a sudden I bumped into a wolf. MOTHER: Oh my God! A wolf! (She said as she held her head) L.R.R.H.: Easy, mom. (She hugged her mother) I know it was wrong, but I started talking to him. He was really nice, and convinced me of taking another path to find some beautiful flowers to cheer granny up. MOTHER: I told you to be careful, my dear… You’ve crossed the line, Little Red! L.R.R.H.: You’re right, mom, and I’m sorry. Anyway, when I arrived granny’s house - I’m sure- the wolf had taken a short cut and had arrived there before me. Somehow he managed to eat grandma; and when I arrived he was in HER bed with HER clothes on and faked her voice to deceive me until he attacked me. MOTHER: (Her eyes began turning up and down, and she sat)I think I’m going to be sick! L.R.R.H.: No, mom, please… Calm down! Don’t you see I’m fine? And so is Grandma! We’ve been so lucky! A woodcutter was passing by and heard the wolf snoring really loud, so he entered the house… He cut the wolf’s belly and rescued us! He’s my hero!!! (her mother couldn’t say a word and her eyes were bigger) Then we filled the wolf’s belly with heavy rocks, which was my idea, and we took the creature to the woods… Mom? MOTHER: Yes…yes, Little Red.. I don’t feel very well L.R.R.H.: So… What’s for dinner?
Little Red Riding Hood is sitting in a kitchen chair, watching her mother cooking dinner, resting from the long walk back home. LRRH: (snorting) I don’t like this new hood Grandmamma bought for me, it’s too old-fashioned! Mother: Well, darling, you see… you’re grandmother is as old-fashioned as your hood… LRRH: (giggling) Oh you naughty woman, how do you dare say that?! Mother: Yes, naughty me, but she’s my mother in law and I had to put up with her living here many years before you were born… and she was soooo annoying! And bossy! LRRH: Oh mum! Thank God dad is not home and he can’t hear you! Mother: Yes Little Red… but, even though I didn’t get along with her, I still respect her because she’s an older woman. And you should, too. LRRH: Yeah, I know, I know… still I hate wearing this stupid hood! None of my friends use one. I wish I could have a trendy thing to wear… Mother: Little, come on, be grateful… Grandmamma bought it for you to show you she loves you…. However, it is not mandatory that you wear it all the time…you know? So, when you’re not around her, you can wear something else. Anyways, anything fits you perfectly, sweetie. LRRH: That’s a nice thing to say, mother… The problem is that you say so because you have to, you’re my mother, I’m no stupid ma… Mother: Oh, I noticed you have hidden a beautiful fur coat, I was wondering where did you get it? I know your Grandmamma wouldn’t give you such clothing, not even in dreams. LRRH: I know! In fact, it was a gift. Mother: (surprised) A gift? A gift from whom? LRRH: (thinks a few moments, and tries to make up a story) Well, it was my friend the Woodcutter who gave it to me… He was so grateful that I warned him about an evil wolf wandering the woods, that he decided to give it to me instead of giving it to his daughter. Mother: Oh, what a wonderful man! He’s so nice! LRRH: (relieved) Yes mamma! And now that I know you don’t mind me wearing it, I’ll tell you that from now on, I’ll be glamorously wearing it through the woods. Mother: You’re such a nice and beautiful girl, Little! I’m so proud of you, honey!
Sorry girls... I'm posting my dialogue again since i wanted to correct some mistakes...
Little Red Riding Hood is filling a basket with food with her mother to carry to her grandma’s house. While doing this, the little girl complains to her mother:
LRRH: Mom! I'm totally fed up of this awful and old-fashion cap you bought me! I want a new one!! Mother: But sweetheart! I bought you that one a year ago! It's in good condition and besides I cannot afford to buy a new one now! LRRH: Come on mom! All my friends wear designer brand caps and I don’t. What’s more, they make fun of me! Mother: That’s because they’re jealous that yours is made from velvet. LRRH: That’s not true mom! Even worse, they boast about their trendy caps in front of me! Like Clarissa who showed me the new one she has in animal print! Pleeease mom, I want one too!! Mother: We will see honey, but now take the basket to yours grandma’s house, could you?
Little Red Riding Hood leaves her house muttering. When she comes back, she is wearing a particular cap, very delicate and smooth, apparently made of an expensive animal skin. She exclaims enthusiastically to her mother:
LRRH: Mom look! Isn’t my new cap gorgeous? Mother: Sweetheart! Where have you taken that from? LRRH: From a veery generous wolf! He said that he was giving me his fur because summer was coming and he was going to shave it anyway. Mother: Oh! I didn’t know that wolves were soo kind. Did you thank him? LRRH: Of course mom!! Mother: That’s my girl!
After Little Red Riding Hood carried out her duty of saving her grandmother, she finally got home. She looked worn out and had rings under her eyes. Her mother was preparing the meals and setting the table, till she realized that her daughter was back home. When looking at her, she asked worriedly to the little girl: Mother: Oh my sweetheart! What happened to you? LRRH: Oh nothing to worry, mum. I had a bad day, it’s been one thing after another. Mother: Oh, what do you mean sweetie? Tell me! LRRH: Well, I’ll tell you, but don’t interrupt me and listen to the whole story, OK? Mother: Yes, just throw it out! LRRH: O.K. Do you remember that you told me not to leave the path and go straight to grandma’s house? Well, of course, I ignored you. I was walking in the woods when I came across a furry wolf and we started talking. He persuaded me to take some flowers for my grandma, and I did it. It was a very intelligent wolf, because what he wanted was to take advantage of the time and to get to grandma’s house first. Mother: What you say is that you were talking to a wolf? Oh, my little girl, are you kidding me? WOLFS DON’T SPEAK! I think that the old lady has transmitted you the flu. LRRH: But… mum! I am telling you the truth! I swear! Mother: Oh, it’s all right my little daughter. Go to bed, I’ll give you some chicken stock. LRRH: I cannot believe it! It is the first time I tell you what really happened and you don’t believe me. That’s not fair!!
The little girl, extremely upset, went to bed and her affectionate mother gave her some delicious chicken stock.
After having defeated the wolf, Little Red Riding Hood went back home to meet her mother. As soon as she arrived at the cabin where she lived her mother asked eagerly: Mother: Thank god sweaty, you´re back! I was so worried because you didn´t come. Was everything okay during the walk? LRRH: Hi mum! As always, you´re right. In fact, something did happen to me when I was going to my grandma´s house. I´ll tell you what had happened in detail only if you promise not to shouting at me, please! Mother: Oh my god! I had a bad omen today and I knew that something bad was going to happen. Tell me now exactly what was that? LRRH: Well, I was walking to my granny´s house energetically because I really wanted to meet her. I tried to follow the instructions you had given to me, all the things related not to leave the path and all that. But well... you know, I´m genuinely curious and I wanted to know a different way in the woods. While walking, I suddenly came across a wolf that seemed to be interested in where I was going to. At first I thought he was amiable and for that reason we started talking and gossiping. He suggested me to collect some flowers in order to give them to my sick granny. I considered it a wonderful idea so I decided to do so. The mother was really shocked and could not utter a word… Little Red went on her telling and said: LRRH: Anyway, I got at grandma´s house. The very first moment I entered there, I realized that something was wrong. In spite of the fact that she was ill and was supposed to be in very bad shape, I didn´t expect to find her like that! She seemed to be a completely different person, if I could call her a “person”. In fact, it was the wolf who was pretending to be my granny. He had taken advantage of the time and had arrived at grandma´s house earlier than me. He ate the poor granny and as he was very clever, he decided to put on her clothes. Mother: Now I think I´m going to faint. LRRH: oh please mum! Take it easy! Here´s the best part of the story! Luckily, a woodcutter was passing round the house. He heard some strange noises that were coming from there. For that reason, he decided to enter and helped me to defeat the treacherous wolf. He cut the wolf´s belly and rescued grandma!! After that, we put some heavy rock in wolf´s belly and we took him to the woods far away. That´s why I look so tired mum! It´s been a hard day´s night!
It was very late in the night when LRRH came back home. Her mother was watching “Dulce Amor.” Puzzled, she quickly stands up and inquires the little girl where she had been and why she returned so late. Mother: I’ve been waiting for you for hours! Don’t trick me by saying that you’ve been at granny’s house because I won’t believe you! LRRH: OH mum don’t be mad at me, sit down and I’ll explain to you what has really happened. Mother: Yes, That’s what I expect to listen to! LRRH: I had a hard day, you know. When I left home, I came across a wolf... Mother: A what? Did you say a wolf? Oh honey, are you hurt? LRRH: No mum, actually, I’m perfectly OK! And please don’t interrupt me; otherwise I’ll go to bed without telling you! Mother: Sorry dear, but I’m worried about you! Please go on. LRRH: So, the wolf asked me in a friendly way where I was going to, and as I noticed he was trying to deceive me, I decided to follow my instincts because I guessed his real intentions. After I told him my destination, I lost sight of him. So I continued my path, being sure that nothing bad will happen to me… Mother: How did you know that? LRRH: Well, do you remember what dad gave me for my last birthday? Mother: Er… He told me it was something special…but I don’t know! LRRH: Well, it doesn’t matter! When I arrived to grandma’s, I knew wolfie was there waiting for me! I did not get on time to help her, but I knew I had to do something about it! He thought I didn’t realize it was actually him in grandma’s clothes, so I started to ask him many questions about what he looked like, and his appearance, and all that, just to trick him, you know… Mother: And what did you have in mind? What did you do next? LRRH: Wait mum, don’t be so anxious! Fed up with his stupid game and angry because he had eaten my lovely granny, I took out dad’s present and shot him dead! Aren’t you proud of me? Mother: What the hell? Are you kidding me? Your father gave you a gun? Oh my God… LRRH: Yes! He gave me a gun, and it was very useful as you see! But that’s not all...look what I’ve got! Mother: Wow! What a beautiful fur! I’m really proud of you! What a brave little girl I have! I know exactly what we have to do, let’s design a new cap for you, shall we? LRRH: Of course mum! How good you are! Shall we drink mate meanwhile?

But well... you know, I´m genuinely curious and I wanted to know a different way in the woods. While walking, I suddenly came across a wolf that seemed to be interested in where I was going to. At first I thought he was amiable and for that reason we started talking and gossiping. He suggested me to collect some flowers in order to give them to my sick granny. I considered it a wonderful idea so I decided to do so.
The mother was really shocked and could not utter a word… Little Red went on her telling and said:
LRRH: Anyway, I got at grandma´s house.
ResponderEliminarMother: I’ve been waiting for you for hours!
So I continued my path, being sure that nothing bad will happen to me…
Mother: How did you know that?
LRRH: Well, do you remember what dad gave me for my last birthday?
Mother: Er… He told me it was something special…but I don’t know!
LRRH: Well, it doesn’t matter! When I arrived to grandma’s, I knew wolfie was there waiting for me! I did not get on time to help her, but I knew I had to do something about it! He thought I didn’t realize it was actually him in grandma’s clothes, so I started to ask him many questions about what he looked like, and his appearance, and all that, just to trick him, you know…
Mother: And what did you have in mind? What did you do next?
LRRH: Wait mum, don’t be so anxious! Fed up with his stupid game and angry because he had eaten my lovely granny, I took out dad’s present and shot him dead! Aren’t you proud of me?
Mother: What the hell? Are you kidding me? Your father gave you a gun? Oh my God…
LRRH: Yes!
